Today is an important day for your local hospice as they hold coffee mornings near you. Every euro raised locally stays locally so share a cuppa with your friends and help your hospice. Every cup counts!
If you can’t attend a coffee morning you can donate at the below number.
To reiterate the words of our hospice Ambassador Brendan Gleeson on RTE Radio 1 Saturday: “It reawakened my faith in humanity. It’s magical the way death is embraced as a part of life. The hospice just embraces death in that way and gives people the finest death possible. And the gift that they allow the people around, families – there’s a beauty about it that is exquisite.
“My mother and my father both ended their lives there [in St Francis Hospice, Raheny] and I’m so grateful for that. I don’t know how to express it properly how a good death is so life-affirming. It’s incredible the gift that it is,” said Brendan.
You can follow all the action today at #Coffee4Hospice or @Coffee4Hospice. Best of luck to every group or individual holding a coffee morning today and thank you to everyone who kindly supports Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Hospice. Your help will make a big difference to the lives of many.
